Mule Deer Buck Caress While leaving Rocky Mountain National Park, I spotted these two Mule Deer Bucks down over the edge of the road. Since I was in a National Park, these deer were quite accustomed to human presence and were easy to approach. I watched them for about 30 minutes and during that time they interacted with each other several times including the inimate moment captured here. I'm not sure of the reason why 2 males would do this type of close interaction, but I was glad to be able to see and document it for the first time.
