Bringin' Home the Fish There are several Osprey nests along the beach at Lovers Key State Park in Fort Myers Beach. When I visited the park this March, most of the young had hatched and the parents were actively bringing fish to the nest. This adult bird took a flight path directly at me as it flew toward its nests before it veered off in another direction.

This adult bird took a flight path directly at me as it flew toward its nests to feed its young with a freshly caught fish.
Blue-winged Teal While photographing a mixed-species flock of ducks in the Everglades, this female Blue-winged Teal separated from the rest of the group which allowed for some images of the pair by itself without other ducks in the background or foreground. In addition, there was almost no wind which provided still water absent of distracting ripples.
Great Blue Heron Plumage Detail It was enjoayable photographing the plumage on this displaying Great Blue Heron. It displayed around me for about 20 minutes and I was able to capture several different compositions of the feather detail.
Top to Bottom Royal Terns are a vocal resident of beach along beaches in the southern half of the United States, Mexico, and Central America. It is almost strictly a saltwater species, rarely venturing inland. This pair of Royal terns mated in front of me while I was sitting on the beach with my camera. They are very energentic and exicting to watch as they do their mating ritual.
