Tufted Titmouse
The Tufted Titmouse is a frequent visitor to winter bird feeding stations in the eastern United States. They are normally very tame and often associate with flocks of Chickadees especially in the fall and winter. They are very vocal and have a loud Peter-peter song which is given from late winter to early summer.

On Cape Cod, Massachusetts, there is a tame flock of Chickadees and Titmice that take food right out of your hand. This Tufted Titmouse landed on a nearby branch after closely inspecting me to see if I had food for him.
